Elope at the most luxurious villa with a garden ceremony on lake Como
A Villa Balbiano elopement is a focused way to marry at one of Lake Como’s best-known properties, with clear Villa Balbiano elopement cost and inclusions up front.
This package is built for couples who want an intimate, photo-led day without paying for a full-day villa rental.
We plan around the venue’s two-hour slot: a short ceremony, then portraits in the gardens, with the rest of the day structured before and after that window.
Our role is to manage Balbiano’s rules and timing so those two hours stay calm and on schedule.
Villa Balbiano is one of several Lake Como options we offer. Compare more Lake Como elopement packages if you need a different venue fit.
Our starting package centers a full elopement day, with a two-hour session at Villa Balbiano as the centerpiece. The total includes the venue rental fee plus planning and photography, so you see one clear Villa Balbiano package price for a complete day rather than a pile of separate vendor quotes.
| Included | What It Covers | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Full Planning & Coordination | Complete management of your entire elopement day, from getting ready to your final photos. This includes coordinating the logistics for your 2-hour session at Villa Balbiano. | We manage the full day's timeline, not just the two hours at the villa. |
| Venue Rental Fee | The 2-hour "commercial shoot" rental at Villa Balbiano for the couple and their vendors (max 10 people total). | This €7,000 fee is included in your total package price. A separate security deposit is required. |
| Photography | 4 hours of photography coverage from a specialist Lake Como photographer. | This covers getting ready at your hotel, your time at the villa, and your private boat tour. |
| Symbolic Celebrant | A professional, English-speaking celebrant to perform your symbolic ceremony at the villa. | The ceremony is personalized but kept concise to fit the villa's tight timeline. |
| Personal Florals | One bridal bouquet and one matching boutonnière. | Designed with seasonal flowers in your preferred color palette. |
| Private Boat Transfer | A Venetian taxi boat for a one-hour tour after your time at the villa concludes. | This allows for more relaxed portraits on the lake, extending your photography experience. |
| Legal Paperwork Assistance | Guidance and coordination for obtaining your Nulla Osta if you choose a legal civil union. | This simplifies the process for a separate legal ceremony, which we integrate into your day. |
Starting price: €16,800
Prices are VAT inclusive. The final cost depends on any optional extras. The venue requires a separate security deposit, typically starting from €5,000 for this rental type.
You can tailor your elopement day with additional services. We manage all vendors and logistics.
| Extra | Best For | How It Affects the Package |
|---|---|---|
| Extended Photography | Couples who want coverage of their evening dinner or a longer getting-ready session. | We extend your photographer's hours beyond the 4 hours included in the base package. |
| Professional Videography | Capturing a cinematic film of your entire day, not just the time at the villa. | We add a videographer to the team, ensuring they stay within the villa's 10-person vendor limit. |
| Hair & Makeup Artist | Ensuring a professional look that lasts from your first photo to your last. | The artist prepares you at your hotel. We coordinate the timing. |
| Upgrade to 5-Hour Rental | Couples who want a more relaxed pace at the villa or wish to add a few guests. | This moves you to the venue's 5-hour elopement rental (€20,000). Your total package price would increase accordingly. |
This package works because we plan your entire day around the venue’s non-negotiable rules for its shortest rental slot.
This timeline shows how a full day is structured around the two-hour session at Villa Balbiano.
These galleries show how Villa Balbiano looks across seasons and light. They give a realistic sense of scale and how a well-planned two-hour villa window fits inside a longer elopement day.
It includes full-day planning and coordination, 4 hours of photography, a celebrant, florals, a one-hour boat tour, and the 2-hour rental fee for Villa Balbiano. That figure is the starting Villa Balbiano elopement package price for the couple-only, two-hour villa slot.
This specific package is designed for the couple only. The venue's 2-hour rental has a strict limit of 10 people total on site, which is filled by your essential creative team. To add guests, you must upgrade to a longer, more expensive venue rental.
While your time at Villa Balbiano is two hours, your elopement day is much longer. A typical timeline, including getting ready and the boat tour, is about 6-7 hours. We plan the entire day for you.
Even for a two-hour slot, we recommend booking Villa Balbiano 12 to 18 months in advance. The venue's schedule is in high demand.
To begin, we confirm availability for a two-hour slot on your preferred dates. We then build your proposal from the €16,800 Villa Balbiano package, with the full-day timeline and logistics spelled out before you commit.
