Some couples want their elopement to feel rustic and casual. Others want the sharp elegance of formal attire. Ayesha and Josef, traveling from Australia with their three children, wanted both. They envisioned a stylish, black-tie Tuscan elopement where the sophistication of their dress would create a beautiful, dramatic contrast against the wild, authentic countryside of Montalcino.
They chose Argiano Dimore, a historic Brunello winery, for its quiet luxury and raw, natural beauty. It was the perfect canvas for their story.

Our Favorite Moment
The ceremony location we chose was a small, quiet lawn at the end of a wisteria-covered path. It’s a spot we love because it feels completely private, with an uninterrupted view over the vineyards toward the distant towers of Castelli Banfi.
When Josef, dapper in his black tie, turned to see Ayesha walking toward him, the moment was electric. Their children participated in a symbolic unity candle lighting, a small, personal ritual that made the ceremony entirely their own. It was a perfect blend of high style and deep, quiet family connection.

The real artistry of the day was in the portraits that followed. A couple in a beautiful gown and black tie, walking down a dusty white road with cypress trees whipping in the wind, creates an image you will be proud of forever.
Later, as the sun began to set, we walked with them through the Argiano vineyards. The golden hour light catching the rows of Sangiovese grapes, the absolute peace of the Montalcino countryside surrounding them. This is what it means to have an elopement guided by a photographer’s eye, turning fleeting moments into heirloom images.
