12th-century Tuscan castle with breathtaking vineyard views and luxurious charm.
A Castello di Banfi elopement offers a classic Tuscan setting defined by a historic castle, rolling vineyards, and refined hospitality.
The property is a protected landmark and a functioning luxury hotel, which means planning an intimate wedding here requires careful coordination within the estate’s specific rules and schedules.
Our packages are designed to manage these complexities for you. We secure the best private spaces for your ceremony and portraits while handling all communication with the venue.
This ensures your day feels seamless and personal, even within a grand estate.
Castello di Banfi is one of several distinct venues we work with in the region; you can compare more Tuscan elopement venues to find the right fit.
Our 2027 packages are built to provide a complete, beautifully documented elopement for two people.
The starting price is based on a symbolic ceremony held on a weekday and includes exclusive use of a designated ceremony space, full planning, and our core team of trusted suppliers.
We handle all the logistics so you can focus on the experience.

Yes. While the base package is designed for two, it can be customized for small groups of up to 10 guests. This requires adding our guest management service to handle the extra coordination for seating, transport, and communication.
A legally binding civil ceremony is not held at the castle itself, but it is possible at the nearby Montalcino town hall. We offer a legal paperwork assistance service as an add-on to manage all the required documentation and appointments for a civil wedding.
For Castello di Banfi, we recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance, especially if you are targeting a peak season date from May to September. The hotel and venue are popular and book up quickly.
The areas designated for your ceremony and portraits are reserved for your exclusive use. However, Castello di Banfi is a working hotel and winery, so other guests will be present on the estate. We design your timeline to work around the venue’s schedule, ensuring your event feels private and uninterrupted.
The next step is to check availability for your preferred dates.
Once you enquire, we will send you a detailed proposal for your Castello di Banfi elopement, including a clear cost estimate based on your needs.
From there, we can schedule a call to confirm the details and begin the planning process.
