An intimate wedding should never feel like a compromise. For Alexa and Myles, their vision was clear: the romance of an elopement, with the celebratory grandeur of a full wedding experience shared with their ten closest family members. Their personal style, hinted at by details like Christian Louboutin shoes and a small airplane bottle opener, spoke of a love for travel and quiet luxury.
This day was designed to prove a philosophy we hold dear. A smaller guest list is an opportunity to amplify the beauty of every detail.

An Intimate Ceremony
With guests comfortably settled nearby, we arranged for a minivan to bring them to the villa just in time for the ceremony. This small logistical detail ensured the morning was completely relaxed. After an emotional first look with her father, Alexa walked towards the villa’s private temple, where Myles was waiting.

The historic structure was adorned with lush white florals, and a classical string trio filled the air with music. In front of their closest family, they exchanged deeply personal vows, concluding their ceremony with the lighting of a unity candle, a simple, powerful symbol of their two families becoming one.

An Evening of Grand Gestures
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a full aperitivo hour with canapés and drinks from the villa’s renowned caterer, Preludio. As golden hour settled over the vineyards, we captured family portraits before Alexa and Myles explored the grounds for their own quiet moments.

But the true centerpiece of the evening was dinner. We designed a spectacular al fresco dining experience at the front of the villa. A single, long mirrored table was set for eleven, covered in candles and flowers.
Above it, two dramatic crystal chandeliers hung against the darkening sky, reflecting in the tabletop and casting a warm glow on the villa’s facade. It was a statement of personal style, proving that a small guest count can be the perfect reason for a grand gesture.

The Sweetest Finale
The celebration continued with a first dance and heartfelt speeches under the stars. Then came a moment of pure Italian theatre: the “cake show.” The chef came out to prepare their wedding cake, a traditional millefoglie, right before their eyes.
He layered delicate pastry with rich Chantilly cream and fresh fruits of the forest, creating a dessert that was as much an experience as it was a treat. With a pop of a prosecco bottle and glasses held high, Alexa and Myles toasted to a day that was everything they had dreamed of.

Our Favorite Moment
Seeing the final dinner setup come to life was a powerful reminder of why we do this. For just eleven people, we created a scene of pure opulence and romance.
The chandeliers glowing against the night sky, the reflections of candlelight dancing on the mirrored tabletop; it was proof that an intimate celebration doesn’t mean scaling back the dream. It means you can invest in creating an atmosphere that is deeply personal and leaves everyone, including the couple, absolutely breathless.

Bringing Your Vision to Life
Alexa and Myles’s celebration is a beautiful example of our core belief: an intimate wedding doesn’t mean a smaller experience. It means every detail, from the logistics that make your guests feel cared for to the design elements that take your breath away, can be perfectly tailored to you. This is the heart of our process: a true partnership where we listen to your vision and then bring it to life with creativity and precision.
If their small wedding story has inspired you, the next step is a simple conversation. We invite you to connect with us and explore what your own day in Italy could look and feel like.
