Stunning 15th-century palace on the Grand Canal, offering historic grandeur and elegant venues for an unforgettable elopement
A Ca’ Sagredo Hotel elopement offers a ceremony inside a 15th-century palace and national monument directly on the Grand Canal. The hotel’s protected status and position as a working luxury hotel mean that planning here requires precision.
Timings are strict, access is primarily by water, and venue rules are firm to preserve the historic interiors. Our 2027 packages are designed to manage these constraints for you, ensuring a seamless experience.
We handle the specific logistics of working within a historic Venetian property, from coordinating vendor arrivals by boat to securing the correct timings for your ceremony.
Ca’ Sagredo is one of several distinct venues we work with in the city. You can compare more Venice elopement venues to find the right fit.
Our 2027 starting package is comprehensive, covering all core elements for a symbolic ceremony for two on a weekday.
The price is based on a ceremony in the Sala della Musica and now includes your accommodation at the hotel, a private water taxi, and a classic gondola ride. We build your final plan from this foundation.

Planning an elopement at Ca’ Sagredo requires understanding its unique operational realities as a national monument and hotel. We manage these details for you.
This is a sample schedule for a late afternoon elopement. Your timeline will be customized, but this provides a clear idea of the day’s flow.
Our 2027 packages for a symbolic elopement for two at Ca' Sagredo start from €8,780. This is a comprehensive price for a weekday event, including planning, one night's accommodation, ceremony venue rental, photography, a celebrant, and transport by water taxi and gondola.
Yes. The hotel is well-suited for intimate weddings with up to 10-12 guests. If you plan to bring guests, we will create a custom proposal that adjusts the package to include guest management, seating, and any required changes to the budget.
No, only symbolic ceremonies can be held at the hotel itself. A legally binding civil ceremony must take place at Venice's town hall, Palazzo Cavalli. We can add legal paperwork assistance and coordination for a Palazzo Cavalli ceremony to your package.
For a prime date, we recommend booking 9 to 12 months in advance. Ca' Sagredo is a popular hotel with limited availability for private events, so securing your preferred date early is important.
While the terrace is beautiful, it is rarely available for ceremonies due to its primary use for the hotel's bar and restaurant. It carries a much higher rental fee and is entirely dependent on weather. We recommend it for a post-ceremony toast rather than the ceremony itself for reliability.
The next step is to check availability for your preferred dates. Once you inquire, we will confirm the hotel’s availability, discuss your vision for the day, and provide a detailed proposal outlining the costs and timeline for your Ca’ Sagredo elopement.
