This creates a difficult, high-contrast lighting situation that compromises the quality of the photography. We advised them to hold on, to wait just a little longer.
This small shift in the timeline does two things. First, it solves the technical challenge. As dusk truly settles, the light across the entire scene becomes soft and even, perfect for creating the heirloom images you will be proud of. Second, and more importantly, it allows the atmosphere to build.
